Global-CPD Academy

Global-CPD Academy is the official online learning platform of Global-CPD. It delivers practical continuing professional development for teachers, school leaders, and education teams working in international, bilingual, EMI, and other English-medium contexts.

The platform supports both individual educators and institutional partners. Courses are designed to be structured, evidence-informed, practical, and easy to follow, with activities that help educators connect professional learning to real classroom decisions.

How free self-registration courses work

Some Global-CPD courses are offered as free self-paced courses. Their public course cards are visible before login, but the full tracked learning experience requires a free Global-CPD account.

1. Create a free account using the account link on the course card: https://lms.global-cpd.org/login/signup.php
2. Log in: https://lms.global-cpd.org/login/index.php
3. Open an eligible free course, such as Introduction to Teaching Strategies or Classroom Management Essentials.
4. Select the free self-enrolment option to join the course as a learner.
5. Complete the required pages, quizzes, reflection checks, and final mastery assessment. Moodle saves your progress and unlocks the certificate automatically when the requirements are met.

Free self-paced courses are fully asynchronous. They do not require uploads, portfolio submissions, trainer grading, mandatory forum participation, or manual certificate approval unless a specific future course clearly says otherwise.

Managed and partner course access

Paid, partner, school-based, and restricted courses are not open for public self-registration unless the course page explicitly says so. Access is managed by Global-CPD or the partner organisation, usually through manual enrolment, cohort arrangements, or an agreed institutional process.

Certificates and progress tracking

Courses with certificates use Moodle completion tracking. For free self-paced courses, certificates are released automatically after the required activities and final assessment conditions are complete. For managed programmes, certificate rules are shown inside the relevant course.
